Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker shines this week for another enchanting holiday season

Vancouver, B.C. – One of British Columbia’s most beloved traditions will be returning this week as Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker premieres for the 2016 holiday season. Premiering on Thursday, December 15, 7:30pm at The Centre for Performing Arts in downtown Vancouver, the iconic production will dazzle audiences of all ages.

With performances by internationally renowned principal dancers Guillaume Côté and Jurgita Dronina (in her Vancouver debut) from the National Ballet of Canada as well as guest appearances from Ballet Manila, this year’s production brings together both international and local dancers to celebrate Clara’s magical journey. The show – Vancouver’s only professional ballet production running for eight consecutive years now – features award-winning ballroom dancers, Shumka Ukrainian dancers, live magic tricks on-stage and a guest appearance from famous Vancouver drag queen, Symone Says.

With over 200 glittering costumes and live accompaniment by the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker is an annual classic masterpiece not to be missed.
