This year, despite the cancellations of most graduation ceremonies due to the coronavirus pandemic, graduates are still able to celebrate they day with different and innovative ways.
We start this year’s crop of graduates with these two sisters from Whitehorse,The Northwest Territories.
Sheridan Curteanu
– French Immersion high school student graduate, Class of 2020 (FH Collins Secondary School)
– going to McGill University to study Bachelor of Arts & Science.
Jaidan Curteanu
*Whitehorse Elementary School class of 2020
- Going to FH Collins Secondary School as she is a French Immersion student and that is our French Immersion high school.
Both graduates are the daughters of Jocelyn and Marius Curteanu. Jocelyn is a Program Officer for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency in addition to being a City Councillor for Whitehorse, NYT. Marius is the Inmigration Manager in the Yukon Government.
