Editor’s note: As we celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9, we feature a Zine work by Mildred Grace German. Her amazing work is just a tiny book ( 2″x3″) of 16 pages. It is a labour of love to draw in such a small page and noticed that it is not stapled but stitched. It is a work of art and historical analysis of Filipino mothers. Also notice the last page with the text:'{End} Family Separation’, a dig at the separation of families under the Live-in Caregiver Program of the government that separates families. The system is similar as the Chinese Head Tax where Chinese men were not allowed to bring their wives and even have to pay a Head Tax.
