Author Catherine Hernandez’s work made into music

Filipina-Canadian author Catherine Hernandez’s work ‘I Cannot Lie to the Stars that Made Me’ has been adapted into audio drama by the Vancouver-based the frank theatre co. It is free on line from January 7 to 16 at thefranktheatre.com.

Hernandez’s previous work ‘Scarborough’ has been made into a movie.

The frank theatre is the oldest professional 2SLGBTQ+ theatre company based on the occupied, stolen lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlil̓wətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations, colonially called Vancouver, BC, Canada.
