Dancer and artist honoured at Explore Asian Gala

Alvin Erasga Tolentino received the ExploreAsian/ Vancouver Asian Heritage Month- Pan Asian recognition award for his contributions in the arts and advocacy.
The Recognition and Awards Gala was held tonight at the Pink Pearl Chinese Restaurant in Vancouver.

In Canada, the month of May is officially recognized as Asian Heritage Month to acknowledge the long and rich history of Asian Canadians and their contributions to Canada.
This year, the explorASIAN Gala placed a special focus on Pan Asian migration and the legacy, culture and accomplishments of the growing and diverse communities of Canadians with Pan Asian heritage.
