Follows successful first single ‘Over Myself’
20 year-old Glisha released her debut album Attchments + Acceptance, barely three years after her first single ‘Over Myself’ in 2018.
The album, a Pop & RnB project consisting of eight original songs, speaks about experiences in transitioning from being a teenager to becoming a young adult. It talks about romantic love, heartbreak, and self-love.
The Surrey. B.C. resident has been making music since doing covers and singing in various huge events at a very young age.
The singer-songwriter describes her songs as “reminiscent of today’s contemporary RnB amidst dulcet tones and mellifluous cadences; encompassing her listeners with emotion as she shares messages from the heart.”
‘Over Myself’ has garnered thousands of streams within the first month of release and has since surpassed over 300,000 streams.
Glisha Dela Cruz was awarded the Joey Awards for “Best Performance in a Recorded Song” in November of 2019. She won Best Female Artist at the recently concluded 2020 Fraser Valley Music Awards.
The daughter of well-known community leader Narima Dela Cruz, Glisha is currently studying Music Technology.

The album title is a take from the push and pull of being attached to things, people, and certain times in one’s life; then later accepting that these are ever-changing, and that nothing can ever stay the same forever.
All songs in the album were written by Glisha and recorded at Good Water Studios in Vancouver.
