Seven cities collaborate in virtual concert
Tropang Canada, together with Deva Dental Clinic, organized the event dubbed “Musikahan ATBP (Variety Show) Alay sa Bagong Pag-asa” showcasing artists from Canada, USA and the Philippines to support the campaign of Robredo, Pangilinan and their senatorial slate for the May 2022 elections.
Filipino celebrities Jim Paredes of the APO Hiking Society and Bituin Escalante are the special guest performers.
It will also feature Lora Nicolas, Arman Ferrer, Noel Rayos, Jovelle Balani, Kurt Tijamo, Lui Queano, Sounds of Manila and the Vancouver Musicians for Leni-Kiko.
Special guests include Becky Abraham, Ian de Jesus, Kyle Neis, KMZ Singers, Shairah Garrido, Noel and Sally Dimar, Erwin Jack Badoso, Edwin Caluag and Jeremiah Carag.
The 2-hour show will start at 6 pm Vancouver time, 7 pm (Alberta), 8 pm (Winnipeg), 9 pm (Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto) and 9 am (Manila, April 8).
“This is the first time that the seven cities collaborated in this virtual concert. We would love for our fellow KakamPINKs across the world to join us in this Canadian-initiated event as our support to the campaign of the Leni-Kiko tandem and their senatorial bets,” said Treenee Lopez, one of the Production Coordinators.
Senator Pangilinan will give a welcome message.
Tropang Canada invited special guest artists from New York, San Francisco, Sidney and Manila.
Tropang Canada is a community-based group composed of volunteers and concerned citizens of Filipino-Canadian descent who support the ideals of democracy, good governance, sovereignty and a corruption-free government as well as the end of dynasties, which are the platform of the Leni-Kiko team.
They were the same group that organized the first Canada-wide Caravan of Hope in November 2021 for Leni and Kiko, Lopez added.
Online registration is required to see the show. Tickets are at CAD$10 each and an access code will be provided upon payment through e-Transfer (from inside Canada using tropangcanada2022@gmail.com) or via PayPal for international subscribers.

The technical directors are Hector German and Von Canton while the writers are Adonis Sucalit and Dante Aviso.
Production coordinators are Lopez and Ghee Salcedo.
I don’t see the point behind a virtual concert. The primary point of a show is for people to get together and have fun – and virtuality can defeat this essential purpose!
