LOOK: Hundreds of pink Christmas parols were made by inmates of Ilocos Sur provincial jail as commissioned by the supporters of presidential aspirant Leni Robredo.
Supporters said that ordering the parols from the inmates was done in celebration of the Christmas season. “It is also our way to provide them with a source of income,” they added.
Each parol costs around P70 to P350 depending on its size and design. The inmates had already created at least 300 parols for the first two batches of orders which were bound to the provinces of Rizal and Pangasinan. | : Katrina Aguila via John Michael Mugas, Philippine Daily Inquirer
