Less than four days after the news on the missing Zenia Tomilas Munda broke in the PhilippineCanaianNews.Com (PCN.Com), relatives have now confirmed that she has been located.
The PCN.Com post garnered more than 3,000 views since it was online.
Munda was reported missing after relatives claim that she has not been heard of since her last correspondence in 2012. She is reported to have come to Canada in 2006.
A native of Tabuk, Kalinga in the Mountain Province of the Philippines, Munda was born October 27,1968 and this year would have been her 53rd birthday.
“Her first work was in [the] Mississauga area. By 2012, her last identified workplace was in [the] Bathurst area,” Frederick Tomilas Munda, brother of Zenia, shared in a Facebook chat Page ‘Canada Help’.
Munda’s sister, Omega posted this message in ‘Canada Help’ after she was located.
“We are so THANKFUL and EXCEEDINGLY GLAD that we’ve found our dear sister ZENIA TOMILAS MUNDA. We had an initial conversation with her over the phone today (. Everyone in the family is still in a state of awe and unbelief yet we are just happy that the search didn’t take long and that we didn’t have to go through the arduous process of seeking and searching. At this point we are at peace that she is ALIVE. As to the circumstances that led to her long absence/disappearance we just ask everyone to leave it to us as a family to somehow sort out. We will reach out to some trusted and willing friends to check and ensure her well-being while arrangements are being made for any of us in the family to personally travel to Canada and see her.
We express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all of you who in one way or another reached out to us to offer help and express genuine care, compassion and love. To all of you who prayed for and with us, we are forever grateful.It was really so heartwarming and overwhelming to feel your love. We may not be able to mention everyone’s name in this post but we’ll try to reach out to everyone who went out of their way just to help us find our sister to express our utmost appreciation.
We THANK AND PRAISE GOD for His goodness and grace! Truly He is faithful and true!
