Vancouver – Today, on June 16 International Domestic Workers Day, local caregivers and their advocates will hold a rally at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) office in Downtown Vancouver to highlight their call to end “Project Guardian”, a program that conducts raids and deportations of foreign caregivers.
The groups will also launch a petition and use the hashtag #EndProjectGuardian to deliver their message about the need to stop this government practice of targeting and criminalizing caregivers.
