More than two months after the Lapulapu Day tragedy on April 26, 2005, lawyers are preparing to assist victims file their legal forms. Thru the initiative of Amici Curiae (AC) Friends of Court, lawyers will be trained to prepare themselves in assisting victims of the tragedy.
The one-day training sessions will be held at 312 Main St. in Vancouver. Lawyers Luningning Alcuitas-Imperial, Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal, Karen Snowshoe, arbitrator, mediator and educator and Judge Mylene de Guzman will be among speakers at the event.
