On Saturday, October 16, 2021, Glenda ‘Onet’ Nacario passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was 54.
Born in the Philippines and raised in Vancouver, Glenda is the eldest with three brothers. Her mother, a registered nurse, first worked in Newfoundland before settling in Vancouver with the family.
She went to St. Patrick’s Secondary School and finished a medical records course at Vancouver City College (VCC). She worked at St. Paul’s Hospital first, at Medical Records and in staffing until her death.
She was a strong and resilient woman who raised her two boys as a single-mother.
She was pre-deceased by her mother , Naomi Aldave-Nacario. She is survived by sons Carson and Daniel, father Percival Nacario, brothers Rey, Percival Jr. and Remuel and numerous other relatives in Canada and the U.S. as well as in the Philippines.
A private Celebration of Life was held attended by close members of the family and friends.
Glenda, your work family mourns your loss. You were a bright and vibrant wee dynamo and always left a smile behind you. Our lives are dimmed with your passing. Love and condolences to your family and loved ones.
