From Dad Jeffrey:
Our Valedictorian!! I’m so amazed at how many goals you’ve set for yourself and how much you’ve accomplished this year! Competing in a higher level in gymnastics, training to get top 20 in the fit run, working toward Valedictorian for your grade 6 grad. Every goal you’ve set has put you out of your comfort zone and pushed you to try your hardest and be the best you can be. We can’t tell you how proud we are, all we can do is support you in all your goals in life, everything you’re accomplishing is all you and your determination. The best feeling as a parent is seeing you create a goal and watching you strive for it, for us it doesn’t matter if you get it or not, we just love watching you try your hardest always! Keep pushing yourself and doing your best, we will always be here cheering you on no matter what. The words your teacher spoke, are you to a “T” you deserve all the recognition you received today we love you so much and are so proud of you!! I hope middle school is just as amazing for you!

Your speech was great ! You looked nervous before you went up but you did amazing! We are extremely proud of all your achievements. I dont care that your got valedictorian but more so how you wanted it in grade 5. Figured what you needed to do to get a chance to be selected for grade 6. And crushed it. Volunteer with the younger grades. Worked hard in all school activities. Joined all the extra clubs garden grove had to offer. Leadership class. Running club patrols and many more. What an amazing way to end your elementary year.
Always thrive for number 1 as you have been doing. And if youre second place. Well… we need to let other feel good sometimes too.

A message from Mom, Agnes…
First, a heartfelt thank you to the teachers and staff at Holy Ghost School for the love, guidance, patience, and dedication you’ve poured into these students over the past nine years. Thank you for helping shape their character, nurturing their potential, and providing the foundation that will guide them as they begin this exciting new chapter in high school.
To the Class of : hold onto these memories, cherish these friendships, and never stop believing in yourselves.
From little kindergarten backpacks and tiny sneakers to Grade 8 graduation, it’s been incredible watching you grow. The laughter, field trips, classroom memories, school events, and friendships that started in Kindergarten have become memories you’ll carry forever.
From shy moments to shining moments, this year, you continued to amaze us—balancing academics and athletics, expanding your circle of friends, and stepping outside your comfort zone with confidence and courage. We couldn’t be prouder of the young woman you’re becoming.
Keep dreaming big, and keep being unapologetically you. The world is waiting for you.
We love u the mostest

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Emily Carr University of Arts & Design. She is shown her with her family- mother Hetty Alcuitas and brother Amado. Her art piece, one of over 400 student works selected are monotype prints. I started out with re-creating images from my mom and aunt’s childhood in Winnipeg. I was drawn in by the vivid colours of the photos from the late 70s. I was interested in leaving the faces blank and layering two images from the same instance together. In these two prints I was focusing on capturing the feeling of the memory and the idea of re-remembering.
