Nineteen-year old Filipino-Canadian Contemporary dancer Juan Imperial will grace the Ricecake Returns event lineup. Imperial presently trains in Contemporary Dance with the Modus Operandi in Vancouver, BC which provides dance training for young emerging dance professionals.
After many months of isolation and operating with a limited capacity amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Ricecake will return on November 13, 2021 (9pm-2am).
“Ricecake Returns” features an all Asian cast of Vancouver’s best DJs and performers. An already sold-out event which will take place at the EastSide Studios Warehouse in Vancouver, BC.
“We’re returning with everything you expect from a Ricecake party: amazing DJs, stellar performances, sassy go-go sets, and a safe, inclusive space full of queer Asian love!,” according to the Ricecake Returns Facebook event page.

Ricecake is held on the unceded Indigenous land of the Coast Salish people including the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh & Tsleil-Waututh nations.
